School Trips and Workshops
School trips are a vital part of the curriculum and we encourage children to attend wherever possible. We seek out the most stimulating school visit opportunities that bring the children’s learning to life, enabling them to explore new environments and ask questions about what they have seen. Recent visits have included Winchester Planetarium and Science Centre, Bodiam Castle, The British Wildlife Centre, Littlehampton Beach, Gatton Park, Butser Ancient Farm and residential trips to High Ashurst and Hindleap Warren.
We also have a number of in-school workshops during the year - recent topics have included Stone Age Day, Great Fire of London, Egyptian and Greek workshops.
We do not exclude children from school visits and workshops on financial grounds, so please do contact the school office if you would like to discuss your ability to contribute. Please be assured that all conversations will be conducted in confidence.
