Enrichment

ENRICHMENT for Years 1-4

Children in Years 1-4 spend one afternoon a week on Enrichment activities. These are led by Teaching Assistants who use their specialist skills to inspire the children. Each class is split into six groups of 5. Each small group works together for half a term on each of the activities described below. Wherever possible the children are taught in context so that their learning is ‘real life’.  This may include using relevant equipment or using the outside environment. The groups make full use of the school grounds wherever possible and the farm for the Animals.
